File Licensing

 

Joseph Legacy Planning (“JLP”) provides a number of informational resources (e.g., infographics, flyers, booklets, videos, audio recordings) to the general public in the form of digital products for free download on its website (“Digital Products”).

Any individual user who views or otherwise accesses the Digital Products (“User”), by the act of so viewing or otherwise accessing the Digital Products, understands that the Digital Products do not constitute or intend to communicate legal or medical advice, and do not create an attorney-client or physician-patient relationship with User, notwithstanding the User's possible status as an existing client of JLP. The User agrees not to hold JLP liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use the Digital Products.

Furthermore, User understands that each and every Digital Product so downloaded includes non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, license to use that Digital Product strictly for private informational purposes, and that all Digital Products remain the intellectual property of JLP without the transfer of any ownership rights. JLP reserves the right to revoke this license at any time without notice. User understands and agrees that User is not permitted to redistribute, sell, or otherwise reproduce the Digital Products for commercial purposes. In the event that JLP suspects that its Digital Products are being so used or shared, or that User is otherwise in violation of the terms herein, JLP reserves the right to seek damages in accord with U.S. copyright law, and any other applicable laws or equitable remedies.
