Advance Directives, Ethics & Heritage Counsel

A nationally-certified bioethicist, Aaron Seng brings fifteen years of combined experience as an educator, historiographer, and healthcare mission director to his vital role at Joseph Legacy Planning. His focus on ethics education and family history is evident in his engaging approach with clients, giving them the understanding they need to a shape a comprehensive vision for legacy planning.

After several years as director of mission and ethics for a premier senior care provider, Aaron saw the value of the Christian tradition in applied medical ethics; an insight that contributed to an extensive subsequent career in writing, teaching, and consulting on the subject. In 2019 he founded the educational resource company Tradivox and published a twenty-volume series of texts informing the first AI digital ethics tool in history. His articles have been featured in the quarterly journal Ethics & Medics, as well as Catechetical Review and several other faith-based periodicals, and he was named to receive the Lumen Fidei Medal for excellence in publishing.

Aaron joined attorney Joseph E. Cavello to co-found Joseph Legacy Planning in 2024 with a view to integrating solid ethical praxis and health care insight into estate planning. He continues to bring clients a clarity and guidance rooted in a holistic view of human flourishing—ensuring the peace of mind knowing that they are prepared for a good end, having done their part to make life transitions as simple and serene as possible for all.

With a passion for mission-driven organizations, Aaron has used his extensive gifts to launch or grow over a dozen different service initiatives in the USA and abroad, and serves the boards of several nonprofits. When he isn’t helping change-makers in the wider community, Aaron is usually found in his library, garden, or otherwise enjoying life with his wonderful wife and children in South Bend.
